Hiroshima

Hiroshima is a prefecture that is tourist friendly with a lot to see and do. Most visitors are drawn to the city for its powerful history lesson on the impact of atomic warfare while also promoting a message of peace, resilience and reconciliation.

Hiroshima also has its own cultural treasures, great cuisine, parks and gardens, a love of baseball, hiking and some stunning natural attractions so you might want to consider adding a few more days to your time in the Chugoku region.
