Queensland in the north east of Australia is the second largest State and is known internationally for its tropical and sub-tropical beaches, the Great Barrier Reef, World Heritage listed rainforests and the four largest sand islands in the world.

While Brisbane, the capital, is a metropolitan river city, visitors to Queensland largely seek its outdoor lifestyle, sunshine and natural attractions.
